| Skirting of Bogota, Colombia "A Roof For My Country" "Un Techo Para Mi Pais-Colombia" World Wide Disaster Relief is pleased to announce a donation of $666.000 (U.S.) to help in the construction of a small house in one of the poorest neighborhoods in the skirting of Bogota, Colombia "Un Techo Para Mi Pais-Colombia" or "A Roof for My Country" was selected as a recipient of this donation. This group of young people are part of a latinamerican foundation with branches in 9 countries. They wanted to help extremely poor people to have better housing. They select the families and during one weekend built their houses. Families are involved in the construction too. Everbody volunteers their time and thanks to them more than 600 families had benefited for the program no just in Bogota, but in Medellin, Cali, B/quilla and Manizales. The cost of a small wood house is $1,285 (U.S.). Our donation will help to a very deserved family in La Calera, were 5 wood houses were built last month.
