New York City Terrorist Attack, September 11, 2001

On 9/14/01, His Glory S.R.A.T. received authorization from President Bush to respond to the site of the terrorist attack at the World Trade Center in New York. When His Glory arrived at Ground Zero our team was well received by NYC fire fighters and police.

His Glory worked along side NYC’s finest and bravest who was searching for their fellow fallen hero’s, family members, friends and civilians. We also offered rehab. and emotional support through prayer for the rescuers working at ground zero. The team left only after Mayor Gulianno decided that all rescue efforts be pulled from the “pile” to allow the very large equipment to move in and remove large amounts of the rubble.

On 9/22/01 the His Glory Team returned from New York City. The Team drove into Kilgore Saturday afternoon for an interview requested by KLTV news crews about His Glory’s mission at the WTC site. The Team was very tired but spiritually high from seeing GOD's hand in everything they did. GOD opened doors to allow the team to do the work He sent them there to do.

His Glory would like to invite you to pray with us for the emergency services personnel who continue to serve and for the families who lost their loved ones, friends and partners.
"Father, I ask you to bless our emergency services workers and their families. Show them a new revelation of your love and power. Holy Spirit, I ask you to minister to their spirit at this very moment where there is pain, give them peace and mercy. Where there is self-doubt, release a renewed confidence through your grace, AMEN"

The His Glory Team would like the thank all of the people that donated to the effort and especially thank those who prayed for the Team and the families that lost loved ones.

A special thanks to the companies that donated:
AAA Trophy of Lufkin, Texaco Express Lube of Lufkin, B & T Van Rentals of Lufkin, Week Of Compassion, Interstate Battery of Longview, Vital Signs of Longview, Wal-Mart; Party and Things of Nacogdoches, Chili's of Valley Forge, Pa.
